itsn (I.T. Network Solutions) is a UAE-based specialist installation and maintenance provider, dedicated to serving Emirate SME's who need one-to-one, bespoke help with all things network-related.



As a start-up in Dubai they needed an identity that set them apart from the major network providers and large corporations, and helped draw attention to their very individual individual-based service; but that projected while they're a small team, they're an extremely professional one - who are all engineers - and who never sub-contract projects.


The acromyn was the starting point (as this had been registered as the trading name) and by chance, provided the creative idea - as the 't' symbol in Arabic looks like the smiley-face icon; so the hybrid of an Arabic and Latin 't' was devised. 


The ligature-based logotype also referenced the skills of the team, as when it comes to 'cable-dressing', they always deliver an installation that looks at good as it functions.



The ident was then rapidly applied to the team's workwear along with the idea of the little label that can be applied at the end of an installation or after maintenance, so as office managers can quickly know who to contact if they need more help.



itsn's offer was also re-written so as tonally it framed the nature of the business, rather than using the jargon of the sector; with the specialisms tuned as well, as part of simple one-page web-build in support.
